Rated 1 out of 5 by from Thick Black smoke I purchased 4 of the large woodwick oval vanilla bean candles 1 for my own personal use others as gifts . On lighting I thought the smoke was blacker than I had usually experienced with my previous candles but presumed it was due to the newness . We left the lounge to eat dinner and returned approx 29 minutes later to thick smoke about 1 foot from the ceiling . We ventilated the room . Aa we went to bed I blew my nose and was amazed at the black soot that was on my tissue. We are now left with smoke damage in our lounge .I have now returned the candles I bought for gifts

I have never had this problem with Yankee candles before, it's not the fault of the candle, just my chest!! So if you are prone to wheeziness, probably best to avoid!

I have 150+ yankee candle scents I can pick a high quality one out! Lol this candle actually crackles as it burns. So cool! And the scent is reminiscent of a fire, very nice for nighttime. Great candle!!
