Yummy warm scent[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Usually like to smell a candle in store before buying because you just can't go by scent names or descriptions. But I bought two large jars of this just based on the reviews and I'm so NOT disappointed. While it doesn't have as much clove scent as I wanted (or what I put in my gingerbread cookies), it is a wonderfully warm and fresh baked scent. Excellent throw; I had this lit for several hours one evening in my living room and the next morning the scent still lingered in my bedroom. The scent is immediate and strong, which is what you want a scented candle to be. This makes me feel warm and happy in winter.

Warm and InvitingOn cold this scent is very spicy, but when burning the spices get toned down and the molasses comes out. Their old Gingerbread is much more of a true ginger cookie scent while this one is more of a warm, spicy molasses scent. The throw is about a 7/10, you could smell it when you walked in the living room and was an absolute rockstar in the master bedroom. Great scent for November and December

So nice~~~This is the first time I can remember lighting a scented candle and not being overwhelmed to the point of almost nausea after it's been burning for a while. Not only pleasant but yummy. I lit it in the morning and to my surprise, was disappointed to have to extinguish it when I went out in the late afternoon! This hardly happens with me! It's not what I would call a spicy candle, but it makes sense because of the name "frosty". This is a gingerbread cake or cookie with frosting and I can smell the frosting. I'm buying more.

Nice warm homey smellLove the new scent BUT it isn't strong enough to carry. I'd have to burn one in each room to have the house smell like Frosty Gingerbread. A bit disappointed in that. The only thing I can figure is the two wick tumbler burns too low. I can barely see a flame. Maybe it isn't burning hot enough to throw the scent very far? The little flame really bothers me. I like a candle to have a pretty flame. After this I've decided to stop using the two wick and gone back to a single wick. Never had this trouble using a single wick candle. I trim the two wick, as instructed, before lighting. I've even tried not trimming them to see if it would help. Doesn't
seem to.

Fresh Gingerbread baking[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this from the store because when I smelled the lid it reminded me of fresh gingerbread baking. When we burned the candles, it had excellent throw and from the front door smelled like something baking in the over! Do not be afraid of the description of clove in the description. There is a good balance of sweet and spiced. This is sweeter than Kitchen Spice and Apple Pumpkin, but not as sweet as French Vanilla.

a poor substitute for gingerbreadYankee used to have gingerbread, a great candlle with a lot of throw. Perfect for chrsitmas but they discontinued it for who knows why. Save your money not a gingerbread smelling candle. BRING BACK GINGERBREAD

Great throw!I reviewed the small tumbler when that came out and was excited to try the Jar and it did not disappoint. The throw is really strong and the scent is a rich, heavy gingerbread with molasses notes and it smells just awesome. The original gingerbread was great, but in my opinion was a bit lighter and somewhat "spicer" than this version, which is very rich. Highly recommended for Christmas!
